Staff Qualifications & Dedication

We screen all of our staff according to 3 important principles:

  1. Child care experience
  2. Evidence of solid character and disposition
  3. Passion for their job

All staff must complete the Pediatrics First Aid Course run by FIRST.

Our staff combined speak Arabic, English, Tagalog and German.

Our staff don’t just supervise children and look out for their safety; they engage, direct and involve them in constructive play and various activities.

Safety

At Favourite Things, your children’s safety and welfare are of paramount importance to us:

  • Both staff and children are monitored through a network of security cameras.
  • Our entire staff maintain up to date first aid training.
  • Daily inspections for potentially hazardous damage and general maintenance.
  • All our toys & materials are safe and age appropriate.

Rest assured, that the strictest adherence to quality of service and product is upheld at Favourite Things; anticipating all of our customer’s high standards and needs. This unique play area is both inspirational and stimulating to all of those who visit… a perfect, and safe environment.

Cleanliness

We understand the importance of cleanliness and use the Polti Vaporetto sterilizing vacuum system daily, which:

  1. Kills all airborne bacteria thus reducing the incidence of infections and sickness.
  2. Cleans and disinfects toys with a non-toxic 120 degree steam.
  3. Dissolves and collects dirt.
  4. Traps dust mites and allergens.
  5. Retains fine particles, so that output air is cleaned thoroughly.
  6. Was awarded the seal of approval by the British Allergy Foundation for its effectiveness in eliminating mites.
